A dry cooler carries a water or glycol loop to the air and puts the heat outside. Where the design day needs more than air alone, adiabatic pre-cooling adds capacity only on the hours it runs.

Adiabatic Dry Cooler

Runs dry most of the year. The pads wet only when ambient climbs past the point where air alone makes the duty, so you pay for water on the hot days and not every day.
